This Cookie Policy explains how Tom Kenny Mose Larsen, operating as dibi buns ("we", "us", "our"), uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on dibibuns.com (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs and tags. We refer to all of them collectively as "cookies" in this policy. Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored for a defined retention period), and "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another domain loaded on our pages).
2. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website and your contractual interest in placing an order. All other cookies (analytics, preferences and any future marketing cookies) are only set after you give your prior, freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent through our cookie banner, in accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive, the Danish Cookie Order, and the GDPR. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time (see section 6).
3. Categories of cookies we use
a) Strictly necessary (always active). Required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They store your cart contents, language, currency, cookie-consent choice, security tokens and load-balancing information. Without these the Service cannot be provided.
Examples (first-party, localStorage): dibi.cart, dibi.lang, dibi.currency, dibi.cookies.v1.
b) Payment & fraud prevention (strictly necessary at checkout). When you reach the checkout page, our payment processor Stripe loads scripts from js.stripe.com and m.stripe.network and may set cookies (e.g. __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) to authenticate you, prevent fraud and process the payment. These are required to complete a purchase.
c) Preferences (consent-based). Remember non-essential choices such as UI options. Currently none are active.
d) Analytics (consent-based). Help us understand aggregated traffic patterns so we can improve the Service. Currently none are active. If we add an analytics provider (e.g. Plausible, Fathom or Google Analytics 4) we will list it here, update the banner, and only load it after consent.
e) Marketing (consent-based). We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes we will update this policy and request fresh consent.
4. Third-party providers
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (payment processing, fraud prevention) — see Stripe's privacy policy and cookies policy.
These providers act as independent controllers or processors for their own technologies as described in their policies.
5. International transfers
Some providers (such as Stripe) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Managing your consent
When you first visit dibibuns.com you can Accept or Reject non-essential cookies in the cookie banner. Your choice is stored locally in dibi.cookies.v1 for up to 12 months. To change your decision, clear your browser's site data for dibibuns.com (or use your browser's "delete cookies" function) and refresh the page — the banner will appear again.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or be prompted before a cookie is set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Service (for example, you will not be able to keep items in your cart or complete checkout). 7. Do Not Track
We do not use cross-site tracking, so we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Where you have not consented to non-essential cookies, we simply do not set them.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly set cookies that profile minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies, in technology, or in the law. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, where required, by requesting renewed consent through the banner.
